Q: "What are they?"


A: An open-air photo booth is a stand-alone photo kiosk with a camera and a touchscreen that takes a picture of people, usually against a backdrop. It's set up in the open, so guests at the party can see all of the action in the photo booth.

Each rental comes with your choice of one of our 20+ backdrops.

- A free primary graphic with the wording of your choice is included. We coordinate the look of the picture with your backdrop selection. If you don't want a backdrop, note your coordinating colors in the "Notes for Us" section. For a customized graphic, we offer a custom graphic design option.

- Our basic rental includes an online gallery of all the photos sent via email after returning to the photo booth.

- WiFi - PLEASE NOTE THAT GUEST NETWORKS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE PRINTER. 95% of all hotels, venues, restaurants, halls, churches, and offices use guest networks incompatible with our printer. If your event occurs in a forum other than your home, you will likely need a hotspot to enable printing, as most locations use guest networks. The WiFi is probably a guest-type network, even if it requires a password. If you don't plan on getting a print package, any WWiFiF with an internet connection will be sufficient. The photo booth itself is fully compatible with guest networks. Only the printer is incompatible with guest networks.

    • Corporate Data and Branding Package adds: Custom Branded Start Screen, Custom Branded Photos, Custom Text/Email Verbiage, and a Spreadsheet of all email addresses and phone numbers used with the booth. (Text can be turned off if you only want an email list).

    • Each rental comes with your choice of one of our 20+ backdrops.

    • With this package, we include a Custom Graphic for your photos (input your wording on the next page). With this option, we will reach out (usually 3-4 weeks before your event) for the theme/colors. Our designer will work up 2-3 options for your design.

    • Our basic rental includes an online gallery of all the photos that will be sent via email after the return of the photo booth.

    • PLEASE NOTE THAT GUEST NETWORKS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE PRINTER. 95% of all hotels, venues, restaurants, halls, churches, and offices use guest networks and, as a result, are not compatible with our printer. If your event occurs in a venue other than your home, you will likely need a hotspot to enable printing, as most locations use guest networks. A guest-type network is still expected even if the wifi requires a password. Please call us if you are unsure @ 1-361-426-5398. *If you don't plan on getting a print package, any wifi with an internet connection will be sufficient. The photo booth itself is fully compatible with guest networks. Only the printer is incompatible with guest networks.

  • Use of Equipment:

    Renter agrees & covenants to be satisfied with the instruction and condition of equipment rented and the proper and safe service of equipment, or that renter is so familiar and conveyed to Unique Event Designs you were. The renter further agrees that the items will only be used at the address listed on the contract and only for the purpose for which it was intended and manufactured. Subleasing or improper use is prohibited. The renter agrees they have read all instruction manuals, operating instructions, and warnings related to rented items.
