When planning a wedding, timing is everything — and in Texas, it’s a little different. While many parts of the country consider summer the ideal season, Texas couples know to avoid the heat and take advantage of our uniquely beautiful spring and fall weather.
Here’s a breakdown of Texas wedding seasons:
🌸 Spring (March–May): One of the most popular times to get married. Mild temperatures and blooming wildflowers make for unforgettable outdoor ceremonies.
🍂 Fall (September–mid-November): Another top choice, especially for rustic weddings and barn venues. The cooler air and changing leaves set a romantic scene.
☀️ Summer (June–August): Not ideal for most. With temps often soaring above 100°F, many couples avoid these months — especially for outdoor celebrations.
❄️ Winter (December–February): Less common, but a great time for indoor weddings with more venue availability and lower pricing.
Texas weather, culture, and charm create a wedding calendar all our own — and knowing when to plan can make all the difference.
